Advent Calendar

This Advent Calendar was created a couple years ago. I found the instructions on Splitcoaststampers.com. Lots of fun to make and the kids love taking it out each Christmas. Well it is almost time to bring it out!

Meet Marty the Magician! He is a family friend who loves to play the funny magician! This kids love it! Recently it was his Birthday so Anita came up with this punch art. (of course) One of Marty's favorite magician tricks is the thumb that lights up! The kids think that is the coolest.

Strawberry Shortcake anyone????

A few weeks ago I had a request for a punch art Strawberry Shortcake.....well due to my health (and long absence from blogging) I new I was not up for this task so I asked my mom Anita if she could come up with one. I provided her a picture of Strawberry Shortcake and 6 hours (yes 6) later she had came up with Strawberry Shortcake and some handy dandy instructions! Thanks Mom.

My mom's Manfriends granddaughter has a birthday in December so she asked her what her favorite Disney character is. Well as you can see it is Mickey Mouse! Great job Mom.

I can't believe I didn't use the Big Shot! First card in a while that I haven't used it for. But I love this set called Baroque Motif. It is so versatile. I love Cherry Cobbler and Espresso paper together and accented with the new Pearls.

Happy Birthday Mom!

My mom's birthday was in the middle of October. She loves to cook and loves to make punch art cards. So of course I had to make a punch art card. I seen this chef on Lynn Pratt blog. The truffle was perfect because I had made my mom her favorite Lady Finger Torte that my grandma Frieda always made each year when she was with us. Now that she is gone I have taken on that tradition (except for last year when I was going through Chemo).

Teacher Halloween Treats

I made these card at my last Stamp Club I held before my surgery. It was nice having them on hand for the teachers. I made them Carmel apples drizzled with chocolate and some sprinkles. Then I just wasn't sure what to put them in.....so I emailed SUDSOL...and had some great ideas. The scallop envelope die made into a box. The first one I used Acetate and then embossed with the spider web embossing folder, added some ribbon and voila. The other one was made with non su paper (SHHH!)
