Emboss Resist on a Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder

This was my attempt at emboss resist. I used very vanilla card stock, Big Shot and the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Before I took the paper out of the embossing folder I took a Versa Mark Pad and gently went of the raised portions. After that I covered in clear embossing powder and heated with a heat gun. I used my sponge daubers to color in the back ground. For the most part it resisted...LOL

Picture holder or card holder - take your pick!

I found this wood holder in the $1 bin at Michaels. Well it just screamed at me to decorate it with the Greenhouse Galla Designer Paper. I used a piece of retired Hodge Podge then cut out the "Friends" from Friends Never Fade Stamp Set and popped them up on dimensionals. Cut out a flower and also used a dimensional. Tied it with hemp wire. I glued the designer paper on with Stampin' Up!'s glue stick. Another fast and easy project and great gift. This goes to Diane along with the note pad holder and a card as a Thank you for the most comfy PJ's and bathrobe she bought for me before I had surgery 4 weeks ago. Thanks Di!

Daisy Accents for some Flip Flops

For my followers you may have seen me make these flip flops a few days ago. Those were for a 2 1/2 year old. We made these at Stamp Club on Friday night. Some of the ladies made smaller ones for the kids or nieces. Today I will wear mine when I go and get a well deserved pedicure. After the pedicure I added some Rub Ons (retired SU) with a little bling, of course!

Notepad holder with pencil

These are some note pads we made at Stamp Club last night using the Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper that coordinates with the new colors Stampin' Up! offers such as Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delight. Becky Roberts had some on her website. Directions and templates for the pencil holder can be found on Nicole Heady's website. Inside will be note paper 2 1/2" x 8". Unfortunately the paper did not get here in time so I will be adding that later. I also cut out the flower and put in on a dimensional then added crystal effects for some shine. TFL Lucia
**Note** Well on Saturday the lined paper showed up! So I've update the picture to include the inside.

Big Shot on Wheels!

Drawer One

Drawer Two

Drawer 3

Top of storage center. I left a few of the pieces out so I could put embossing folders in as well as the sizzlets, etc.

Yesterday I bought this Mobile Storage Unit @ Michales and put it together to store all my Big Shot dies and accessories. It works great. It is even on wheels so I can roll it around my craft room and even roll out to where I hold my stamp club and have all the dies right there! I love it!!!!! Still leaves me with a ton more of space to fill up!

Fun with flip flops!

Before
After

Flip Flops can be so boring but not with Fun Foam and a Big Shot! I decorated these cute lil' flip flops for Madison! From Boring to Bling in a few short minutes. I bought some fun foam from the craft store and used the daisy #2 Bigz die and the Big Shot. Added the Filigree brads and presto! (oh don't forget to hot glue them on).
**Note** These were very small flip flops. They were for a 2 1/2 year old. I know the picture makes them look bigger.

Hydranga!

I made this hydrangea arrangement in a square vase for my patio table. This plant grow in my yard right behind the play gym for the kids. So it is not seen very well. So I've been making arrangements for the house, patio and for my mom, Anita.

Quilted Rag Purse!

Last week I made my first Quilted Rag Purse. I hadn't sewn in over 18 years! But I ever since I bought the scallop square bigz die from Stampin' Up! I was anxious to make this purse. So off to the craft store to pick out my fabric. Once I got home I cut in out then sent it through the big shot. Let the sewing begin. It was so fun! Instead of fabric handles I bought these wooden handles. I just love how it came out! It is even reversible! What do you think?
