I've really been trying to use up retired designer paper. I saw a cute bunny and basket on http://www.mercedesweber.blogspot.com/. I just used 4 of the scallop envelope die for the Big shot. For the handle I used the scallop trip border punch. The bunny is made with the 1 3/4", 1 3/8", 3/4" , 1/2", 1/4"circle punches, large and small oval punches. TFL
This flower was made using the XL Two Step Bird Punch. The flower is a Heliconia. I found awesome directions on this flower at http://www.annscreativemoments.com/. Check it out as hers is beautiful. I will be sending this to my mom for Easter. My mom loves Hawaii, as do I! I am looking forward to our trip to the Big Island in September. In the back ground I used a texture plate. Get out your sponge daubers. You will need it for this project. Thanks for looking.
Today I am doing a scrapbook workshop for Amy and her family and friends. I used the Big Shot Top Note Die to make the bunny along with various oval/circle punches. The carrot top is the snowflake punch. The Tulips are made from the XL Two Step Bird. The vase is the Ornament punch. The small flowers all over the page are the trio flowers. Inspiration came from Nicolette @ SCS.
I just love the XL Two Step Bird Punch. This card was inspired by Becky Roberts. I used the Fusion Flower Sizzlit to make the cute little flowers. I also used the scallop trim border and corner punches as well.
I am trying to use up scraps from designer papers. I love the glitter on this. The flower is made using the XL Fancy Flower in the mini occasions. I spritzed the paper 2 times then crumpled t hem up into a ball (punched 5 of them) then un-crumpled and punched a whole in the middle of each one and layered them on a brad, pull up the petals and scrunched them around a bit to get the look I was going for. Once it was try and used the two way glue pen on the edge of the petals then dusted it with dazzling diamonds for some more glitter!
For the next few days or so I will be uploading Thank you cards for the folks that have been donating money to Susan G Komen Race for the Curewhere I will be walking as a Breast Cancer Survivor in May. I really appreciate their donations.
for this card I used the In Colors and Razzelberry DP. The flower is 5 scallop circles crumple up in a ball then un-crumple (is that even a word?) then poke a whole in the center and add a brad and stack them on. Close the brad and pull up each layer and "scrunch" to get the look you desire. This can be done with card stock as well, just spritz with water first then crumple up into a ball, etc. The leave is a sizzlits.
I am at it again with the Fancy Flower Pins. This time I went through my closet and was tossing out some denim jeans and thought I would recycle them. I think they are darling but I know they are not everyones "thing". But they are certainly fashionable. I see them popping up everywhere from purses, wearing them etc. I couldn't decide what color background I liked when I was taking pictures of them so they are here twice! LOL
I stacked them two different ways. The one with the white button....I folded each flower in half and then altered the color denim and glued them together with a hot glue gun. The one with the yellow corduroy button (SU!): I just layered two of the same size flower off set then set the next size flower, etc. Again glued with the hot glue gun. These flowers were made using the Big Shot and the Fancy Flower Die.
Inspired by many other crafters....here is my version of the Chocolate Bunny box. The body is the Top Note Die (front and back) The box is the Fancy Favor Box. Ears and feet are the wide oval punch, large oval, 3/4" circle, 1/4" circle, Eyes are 3/4 circle and 1/2" circle, cheeks are 1" circle, nose is the small heart punch, carrot is the large oval and the carrot top is the snow flake punch. The hands are the scallop circle punch then re-punched with the 1 3/4" circle punch.
March 28th I am having a scrapbook workshop in Willits, CA hosted by Amy! She has lots of gals coming so I am really excited. This is just a sneak peak....I will post the full pages next Sunday. Thanks for looking....
While I have been busy working on other projects my mom, Anita, has just been punch happy. She challenged herself to make a dirt bike and the rider. I think she did an awesome job! I hope Jonathan knows how much time she spent on this card and frames it.
I love this gal! Anita saw Ellen's "Office Olivia" and made one for her friend who is a New York Life Agent. The card isn't finished yet...Anita said she wanted to add a computer too....I will post again when she has completed it. Click here for Ellen's Office Olivia.
My mom, Anita, is the guest puncher today. Isn't this dolphin the cutest?

My nephew celebrated is 18th birthday yesterday. I made this card using Lovely as a Tree and Under the Stars stamp sets. The fuzzy belly is an old retired flock but perfect for his belly. I masked the spray then stamped the bear, masked the bear then stamped the sleeping bag. All using the Stamp a ma jig.
Well I will be the first to admit I have the hardest time creating masculine cards. I needed a card for my hubby so this is what I came up with. He just had a lift and new wheels and tires put on his truck (mid life crisis, I guess) so I thought I would use the truck from Loads of Love and alter it. We also camp a lot with our trailer so....well you see where I am going with this.
Today over at Begin the Journey Stamp a Creation she posted a color challenge. The colors to use are Rich Razzelberry, So Saffron, Old Olive and Whisper White. This is what I came up with. Sadly it didn't photograph well. I used Vintage Vogue and embossed the Rich Razzelberry, the whisper white went through the polka dot embossing folder and the tulips and leaves were created with the Extra Large Two Step Bird Punch. I even embossed the Old Olive Satin Ribbon. I suppose I got over excited with embossing. Sometime too much of a good thing is just too much.
I recieved the top card from Emily! She said when she saw this stamp it reminded her of me! Boy was she right! So she sent me the card with some images stamped. So I made a card (the one in pink) for a friend at work that took over for me while I was out dealing with breast cancer. Now I am fully recovered and back to work. I do not know who the maker of the stamp is.....I know...not an SU stamp...but sometimes you just have to use something else and this one screamed at me to use it! LOL I love the saying the most. If you can't see it it says "Of course the're fake! My real ones tried to kill me! ROFLMAO!
Here are some flowers mom (Anita) and I have been making with the Bigz XL Fancy Flower Die for the Big Shot. We used felt and a glue gun. Then twisted the petals! Buttons found at Beveryls. Hope it brings luck.
