I {heart} hearts scrapbook page

Tomorrow I am doing a workshop for some ladies who are avid scrapbookers. We will be doing this page featuring the I {heart} hearts stamp set from Stampin' Up. I also used Vintage Vogue stamp set. For the hearts I used the polk a dots embossing folder then used the heart punch. For the border I used the pinking hearts border punch and for the pink picture area I used the pinking hearts corner punch. and some real red satin ribbon. These items can be located in the Mini Occasions.
**Note** For every purchase of the I {heart} heart stamp set, Stampin' Up! will donate $2 to the Haitian Disaster Relief.
Thanks for looking,

Survey Says......

Ok today I would like to ask all of you a question. How do you store your stamps? Alphabetically, seasonal, occasions, etc. I am remounting all my wood stamps, well actually I am unmounting them to use with the new clear blocks from Stampin' Up! Being able to store them in the dvd cases from Stampin' Up! is going to be a great space saver. So please post a picture or just tell me how you organize your stamps. I will post all the replys once I get them. Thanks for playing.

Lucia

Simple Valentine

Valentines will be here before you know it! Becky Roberts posted this cute card on her blog Inking Idaho. They were thank you notes but I changed mine to a valentine card and did a little sponging to the bird from the Extra Large Two Step Bird found in the Mini. Lots of fun items in there. Let me know if you need to place an order. I will be putting in a workshop order on Sunday. Remember for every $50 you spend you will receive a free Sale-a-bration item for FREE (Just like the border punch used on this card FREE)!

Whooo Whooo is the Owl?

This is the owl from On Board So Tweet chipboard. I have to admit that I haven't used much chipboard and a potential new customer was inquiring about it so I thought I better see what can be done. It just so happened that in the Stampin' Success magazine for February this cute owl was in there. So I did my best to copy it. I used the hearts from the I {heart} hearts stamp set from the Mini, cut them all out to make them like feathers. I covered each dot w/ crystal effects and then added Dazzeling Diamonds for some sparkle. I also did the to the eyes as well.

I've been a bad girl! I went on a shopping spree!

This is the package that 4 stamp set came in yesterday from Stampin' Up!
Here they are out of the package. These are the new clear mount stamp set found in the Mini Occasions. I really love how compact they are for storage, they are already labeled and show a picture of the stamps on the side and a full side picture on the front. These cases are the size of a DVD case. Oh how I want to re-mount by wood mounted stamps!
Here is a comparison of 4 wood mounted stamp sets versus the clear mount. Still made of the great quality rubber you are use to with Stampin' Up!

Here are the clear mounts. They are beautiful. You can purchase them as a a set or individually.
Ok now I need to get busy Stampin'!

Does anybody know what time it is???????

It's Stampin' Time of course! The idea came from Stamp-N-Design by Lynn (who also credits Ellen from Blinkin', Thinkin' & Inkin').
I used a Scrapbook frame (shadow box) that I bought from Michaels. I still have to "tweak" the clock....having issues with it. The words are from my cricut that I had to dust off to even use. SSSHHH. I can't believe I don't have any Big Shot letters. Well I know what will go on the wish list.

New Year Card

My mom made a few New Year cards. The New Year Baby Idea came from.............Ellen, of course!

Happy New Year!

I thought this would be pretty to start of the new year! 2009 was very challenging for me but I've made it through and will be stronger from it. I've learned who my family and friends are during a battle of cancer. Our family and friends have been amazing! I will finish up radiation in February and hopefully get back to work! I hope to do this calendar project as a class this month so I will spare the details until then. As always, thanks for looking!
