Mother's Day Club Project & 365 Days Blog Challenge Day 65

Howdee Stampers! Here is what I came up with for our Stamp Club that meets tomorrow. I love these Flower Pot cards. The Top Note Box makes a great way to give a wonderful gift to mom. All products are Stampin' Up! For the Flower Pot I used Close to Cocoa card stock. After I cut the cards stock I put it through my Big Shot using a texture plate from the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds 1 (item no. 114515 on page 203). Next I sponged Close to Cocoa on the raised part of the embossing. The flowers are Stampin' Up! Simple Flower embosslit dies and the leaves are the Little Leaves sizzlits dies. I used dimensionals to pop them off the card stock. For the top note box I used A Walk in the Park Designer Paper that you can find in the current mini, Kiwi Kiss for the box and for the Top Note Bigz Die (item no. 113463 page 196). For the butterflies, well another Bigz Die called Beautiful Butterflies (item no. 114507 page 196). I also took the large butterfly and ran in through the Big Shot using the Backgrounds 1 texture plate. I can't forget to mention that I also used the new Scallop Oval Punch and the Oval All stamp set. Check out the Mini here. Here is the Box Template. Compliments go to Stamps, Paper, Glitter for the box template.

Voila - Another Plate!

I wanted to make another insert for my Holiday plate. This one is for the times there is no holiday. I used the SU set called Voila! Isn't he so cute! I also used the texture plates for the Big Shot to make the floor. I took stazon and drug it across the raised part of the diamonds. I paper pieced his pants and hat with Rockabilly Specialty Designer Paper (item no. 114039). I love the pin stripes!

Day 48 - Accordion Card

Well this isn't a card but I had fun making it accordion style. Hop on over to 365 Cards Blog to see everyones entry for today.

I used chipboard and covered with Berry Bliss Designer Paper now retired. I scored black card stock and used the spiral punch to make it look like a picture negative. The stamp set is One of a Kind and the punch is the Boho Blossoms. All products Stampin' Up! (except for chipboard squares and ribbon).

Day 47 Pop Up Card 365 Card Challenge

This is my version of a pop up card. Well the butterflies pop off the card that is. :-) I used the negative to the Top Note Bigz die for the Big Shot. I used Stampin' Up! Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and cut each butterfly out for the inside. For the grass I used Inspired by Nature. I used vellum for the "spirals" that the butterflies sit on. I can't wait to use my new Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die for this. Here is a tutorial on how to do the inside of this card also known as a spiral pop up card. Now hop on over to 365 Cards Blog....

Altered Picture Frame

I picked up this wood frame at Michaels on the clearance rack. Not sure what is wrong with it but is said "as is". So I covered it with some paper from Raspberry Tart (LOVE IT!). Then I added some flowers and leaves w/ the simple flower embosslet and sizzlits little leaves. I sponged the flowers and the leaves and added some half pearls from the pretties kit.

3rd paper flower

Here is the 3rd flower I made from the Stampin' Up! Mini Occasions on page 9. Basically if you've seen my tutorial on the other two flowers you make the center 3 times. For the 2nd layer wrap around the center. For the 3rd outer layer you wrap it around the 2nd layer. Hope that makes since.

Easter Plate & 365 Challenge day 34

Over the weekend I made this Easter plate. Actually there is velcro on the back so I can make one for all the Holidays....so keep checking back to see what appears on the plate next.

I cut out the bashful blue with my Circle Scissor Plus from Stampin' Up! on the 6" mark then I cute my designer paper at 5 3/4". I used my scallop circle die for the Big Shot then cut some more circles to inside of that. I used A Good Egg for the stamp set, some cosmo glitter by using the tombow multi liquid glue then sprinkling on the glitter. For the middle I used my Eyelit border punch on both sides of the strip of paper, glued it on then used my paper snips to trip the ends off. The plate I purchased at Walmart. It is a salad plate.

365 Cards Challenge Day 32 - Imagine This

This is a card I made a few years ago using the Heated Pearl X method. Basically it is Elmer's glue gooped (is that even a word?) on the card stock, then pearl x dusted over the top then you heat w/ a heat gun until you get the desired look, in this case, water!
