Paper Flower Tutorial
Items needed:
Designer Paper of your choice (2 -3 different patterns)
Sticky strip
Card stock
Snail adhesive
Paper snips
Template from SU for the flower petals OR Build a flower #2 for the Big Shot!!! (Can’t wait for that to arrive!)
For the middle part of the flower:
Cut a strip of Designer Paper 2” x 12”. On the 12” side score 1 ¼” just for a marking line. You will then cute 1/8” strips with your paper snips just to the score line.
Then I used my paper piercer to start rolling the paper to make the center (kind of like quilling, but not, lol).
By now you can slip out the paper piercer and finish rolling with your fingers. When you get to the end put a bit of sticky strip on the paper and finish rolling so it will stay rolled up.
This is what the center of the flower should look like:
Next you will need to cut out your petals. Then I cut my designer paper the appropriate size and then I laid my template onto the paper ( I cut 3 pieces at a time)
Then I added snail adhesive (you could also use sticky strip or glue stick) to the base of the petals.
Now is where you start layering the petals around the middle base created earlier. Here is where need to be careful of the petal placement. Really I have no specific measurement, I just had to eye ball it.

I am working on a tutorial as we speak so stay tuned for that. I see some of my petals need some tweaking but this was my first shot at it...waht do you think? The paper I used was Rasberry Tart. I love this paper.

Easter Diorama Card
Here is the card we made at my Stamp Club. I used A Good Egg (114974, found on page 29). I used bashful blue, pixie pink and whisper white card stock. The chicks inside the card were stamped and then paper pieced using the Designer Dots Designer Series Paper found in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. If you'd like to see a copy of this click on the link on the left hand side of my blog. I sponged some clouds on using a scrap piece of paper punch with the Scallop Circle Punch (109043, found on page 185) I used the sponge daubers to stipple the ink on to create clouds. I also used the Inspired by Nature for the grass. You can still purchase this set although you will not see it in the current catty (order # 111656) it comes with blacked eyed susan flowers too.

Club Pictures - Easter Photo Holder
Saturday was our Stamp Club. We made a binder clip photo holder (you could display your business card as well). I used the Delicate Dots Designer Series Paper. You can earn this paper free by placing an order of $50 or more. This offer is good through March 31st. I used the SU! stamp set call A Good Egg (114974 found on page 29). I stamped the egg image onto the designer paper and cut out the image and added Fine Cosmo Glitter (108796 found on page 180). What do you think?

Repost 365 Cards Day 44 Money Holder
I need a very quick card for my nephew's birthday so I had to come up with something to put the money in. Here is what I came up with. The card dimensions are 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 scored at 3" and 6". I used the 1 3/4" circle punch so the presidents face would show through. I also used the word window punch to cut out the top portion. It could use some decorating on the inside BUT I was in a hurry. Show me your money holders.....and check out 365 Cards Blog for some daily challenges.

Thank Ewe!
This card was inspired from someone on SCS. I didn't have a scallop circle that size so I used my new cutter bee circle cutter and then used my corner rounder with the guard removed to make the scallops. It turned out ok.

Happy Birthday Honey!
I made this card for my husbands 41st birthday. We love to camp and eat smores so I was excited to use the Under the Stars stamp set from SU! I used the 3/4" punch for the dots on top and the 1 3/8" punch for the smores to sit on. The candle and the party hat is from the SU set party Hearty! The chocolate chip card stock was ran through the Big Shot w/ the dot texture plate. It is hard to see in this picture.
